As an NCJW member, you will impact the Greater Houston Area
and the world at large by becoming part of a growing
grassroots network of courageous and compassionate
individuals who improve the lives of women, children, and
families every day through their volunteer and advocacy
efforts. Greater Houston Section is in our schools, our
courthouses, our State Houses, on the phone and in the
trenches working to change lives every day. Come, join us!
Greater Houston Section has four
branches. All NCJW GHS members may attend any NCJW
general meeting at any of the four branches. Check out
Branch Happenings to learn more about them.
Daytime Branch
usually meets mornings from September to May on the 3rd or
4th Friday of the month. The membership consists of women
and men of all ages.
Career Branch was formed to meet the
needs of members who work during the day. Their meetings are
held at 7:30PM on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
Concerned Young Women Branch was formed in 1993 to meet
the needs of young women. The majority of members are in
their 20's and 30's. The group usually meets on the 1st
Wednesday of each month at 7:00PM.
West Houston Evening Branch focuses
its efforts on serving the needs of the West Houston Jewish
Community. Meetings are held the 3rd Monday evening of each
month in the area bounded by Sugar Land, Alief, Memorial,
Mission Bend and Katy.
