2012 Hannah G. Solomon AwardsSunday March 4, 2012 ![]()
Named for the National
Council of Jewish Women’s Founder and highest
honor, the Hannah G. Solomon Award is presented
annually to those who have helped change and
expand the role of others in vital areas of
community life, and whose leadership in areas of
NCJW concern--improving the quality of life for
women, children, and families--has motivated
others to fight for change and resulted in
progress and enlightenment in the community.
Help at Camp Victory
Texas
Training sessions will be
held on Saturday, March 24,
and from Friday to Sunday,
May 4-6 at Camp Allen in
Navasota, Texas. For more

women ages 21 and up with a
Master’s Degree in social
work and/or clinical therapy
experience, or currently
licensed doctors, nurses,
and RNs qualified to track
and monitor prescription
drugs
Cook for Donny Workman
NCJW provides lunch weekly
to art students who are
HIV-positive or living with
other life-threatening
illnesses. Leftovers
from meetings and special
occasions as well as soft
drinks and paper goods are
always welcome. If you are
interested in cooking,
serving or donating please

Read to Children
We usually visit the House
of Tiny Treasures on the
second Monday of each month.
We carpool from the JCC and
read to the children from
10:00-11:00 a.m.
