100TH ANNIVERSARY

For the last 100 years, Greater Houston Section’s dedication to and compassion for the women, children and families it serves, has provided the means for tens of thousands to thrive through newly built, healthy and productive lives by addressing such issues as domestic violence, human trafficking, childhood literacy and Houston’s hungry.

NCJW Greater Houston Section has enriched the community and has laid a foundation of hope and strength upon which to build the next 100 years of service.

Inspired by Jewish values of helping others, regardless of race, religion or culture, the Greater Houston Section of the National Council of Jewish Women has leveraged the collective power of its more than 800 members, its volunteers, donors, funders and community partners to provide those essential community service programs and the advocacy leadership that changes lives and turns progressive ideals into action through advocacy campaigns, social commitment and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.
